About PNP
Who Are We?
PNP LAN has long been associated with Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) Local Area Network (LAN) gaming in the Tampa Bay, FL area. PNP has transformed from its roots as a monthly BYOC LAN to a LAN center and now back again as a monthly BYOC LAN.
Where Are We?
PNP is hosted at The Minnreg Hall, 6340 126th Ave, Largo, FL 33773. We have been hosted at the Minnreg for years and it is a facility that provides plenty of space for PNP to build and grow, as well as a fantastic atmosphere for a LAN environment.
What Should I Bring?
PNP is a BYOC LAN, which means you will need to bring some of your own equipment if you plan to game with the rest of us. We provide a low-latency professionally managed network - including internet connection, tables, chairs, network cables and power. You supply the computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse and any other cables you might need.
PNP recommends you bring the following:
- Computer
- Monitor
- Keyboard
- Mouse & Mouse Pad
- Power Cables
- Installation CDs and CD Keys
- Headphones (w/ Microphone)
- Spare Power Strip
Our Rules
At PNP we’re not looking to impose tons of rules or otherwise limiting factors on the LAN. What we are looking to do is provide a LAN environment which is perfect for gaming. We do have a few simple rules we ask everyone in attendance to follow.
- Drugs, Alcohol, or other controlled substances are prohibited at the LAN
- Respect other players and their belongings
PNP reserves the right to deny any person admittance at any time. Additionally, if you are ejected from the LAN for violating our rules or causing a large disruption to the general LAN, we reserve the right to deny a refund.
If you should have any questions regarding our rules please feel free to contact a member of PNP in our IRC channel on irc.gamesurge.net #pnplan or at the time of registration. |
